Description
Queens are handled by Australia Post in the special separate bag system and need to be lodged at the front counter in person by me and we get a tracking number.
Interesting logistical note. You need to be ready to take time out from your routine when you are notified that your queen/s are available to put them into your hive that following weekend or maybe the following Monday. Queens when caught on a Monday or Tuesday, will hopefully be posted Tuesday or likely Wednesday. They do last well with escort bees but not forever and do need water. Since we are a regional, Australia Post say it can take an extra day to deliver in the metro area and then another out of the city.
Of course you could pick them up.
